This is a handy item to have in the kitchen and so simple to use. Ready-to-go (it comes well-packaged and includes battery) the thermometer turns on once the probe is pulled outwards from its casing and automatically turns off once the probe is folded back into the closed position. Having a clear, easy-to-read digital display (plus backlight), this is a brilliant gadget to help determine if the food item doesn’t just look cooked on the outside, but that it’s not undercooked or still raw in the middle. A boon particularly for owners of airfryers. It easily switches between Centigrade and Fahrenheit by depressing the backlight/C/F button and waiting two seconds. The ‘hold’ button may be of use to some people but reading the display whilst the thermometer is still inside the item I’m cooking is, however, sufficient for me. The magnet, also, isn’t for me but I can understand why this would aid storage for others. Note: do NOT try to wash this item in either a bowl of water or dishwasher as it’s not waterproof – carefully handwash the probe after or between use. All in all, a handy kitchen gadget at a great price.

The thermometer turns on when you pull out the probe and switches off when you fold it back in. The display is clear and easy to read, even in dim light, which is super helpful. If you're like me, and a little anxious when it comes to food safety and hygiene, this is the perfect tool for you! I LOVE knowing that when I cook,everything is cooked to safe levels and now ensures that I dont overcook and dry out my meat or burn it just for the hope of not having food poisoning! I really highly recommend this, it really ensures that you are safely cooking food and also letting it be cooked perfectly so its not overdone. One issue which is more our problem, is that its hard not to get water on most of it. I'd rather it be fully water proof for when accidents like it slipping into a sink full of water happens! So this is actually the second food thermometer I've bought due to this exact reason and it no longer working! Been more careful with this one. But it is extremely affordable so not too worried if it were to happen again. Get this, you wont be disappointed with how useful it is!!

Love this easy to use and store thermometer. Turns on and off by unfolding the probe, and sticks nicely to the fridge so it's easy to grab and go. Seems to be accurate as food is cooked perfectly and is quick to display the temperature. Long enough for a large joint of meat. Back light is a great feature and all in all great value for money. The only minor issue is the battery cover does not clip in when twisted so every few uses it can come lose and fall off.

Très satisfait de mon achat. L'appareil s'avère plus pratique que je ne l'imaginais et semble plutôt robuste et parti pour durer. La mise en service est automatique selon que l'on déplie ou replie la sonde de température. L'affichage possède un rétroéclairage bien utile. On peut sélectionner les degrés Celsius ou Fahrenheit... Un aimant est même posé au dos de l'appareil afin que l'on puisse l'accrocher sur le réfrigérateur par exemple. Les mesures ont l'air relativement précises et s'affichent rapidement. Je recommande.

Na plus: dobra jakość samej obudowy, fakt, że się składa, ma magnes do przypięcia na lodówkę/piekarnik, łatwo dostępną, popularną i tanią baterię. Na minus: po zamknięciu nie wyłącza się, cyfry widoczne są tylko na wprost i pod kątem od dołu patrząc. Po niewielkim obróceniu i spojrzeniu z góry cyfry są zupełnie nieczytelne. I najważniejsze: nierealne wskazania - nie mam w pomieszczeniach 25 st C. Nie polecam.
