Firstly this product is usually on sale, so purchase at a reduced price is my recommendation and even then it's very expensive for a toothbrush. However it is a quality item, using sonic power to clean your teeth you really notice the results, coming from a colgate toothbrush even in a week I've noticed much cleaner teeth. I have only been using this a few days and already I have noticed a difference with the clean feeling after brushing. I have swapped from an electric toothbrush of a leading competitor and I’m glad I did! With early signs of gum disease, I followed the advice from my dentist and switched to a Sonicare. The different settings are great to have, the head of the brush is slimmer and has softer bristles compared to my old electric toothbrush. The Sonicare cleans much better and definitely not as harsh, as I have had no gum bleeds since using this. The product came with 4 heads and head cover and a high quality hard case for travel use. The quality of the brush is really good and light too. The only confusion is how to turn it off, but I haven’t read the user manual yet. I would not have spent £249, as I feel that is too expensive for a toothbrush. Purchased for much less during the Black Friday event and glad I did. The battery was almost fully charged from taking out of the box, so not needed to charge it yet. Very pleased so far.

I bought this to replace my existing (cheaper) philips sonic brush that stopped working after 5 years. The good: Like the old version I had and pretty much every model, its a very effective electric toothbrush, and whilst this is subjective, I do prefer this type of brush to the rotating type. I do feel the battery life is a little less than my previous one though, otherwise the cleaning power is identical. it also has a VERY useful travel case, that stores two heads (one for me, one for my wife) and also as a bonus it has a MicroUSB socket so can charge the body whilst int he case via standard USB, so you dont need to take the stand charger with its two prongs shaver plug when travelling. Also, despite not being made clear, it DOES work with older brush heads, including clones, without the "BrushSync" tech (see bellow) It also has Bluetooth and an app, though I have not used it (as both my wife and I use it) I dont think it has much longevity beyond its novelity, plus obvious privacy issues. The real issue I have with this is the pricing structure. The cheapest version is nearly a third of the price of this model, and is just as good at brushing your teeth and having used both cheaper and more expensive version i cannot visually see much if any difference. The additional "features" of this head are relatively trivial to implement, often just software changes, such as the brush modes, and intensity, yet a huge markup is given to each "feature" as you go up the chain. Even where there is some non trivial change, like bluetooth the additional retail cost seems excessive. Dont get me wrong, some of the feature may have some value, but the additional cost just does not add up makign the more expensive models seem extremely poor value for money, once you actually start comparing objectively. As such I am giving this model a 3 star, and neither recommending or suggesting to avoid this model, because as a sonic care tooth brush, it is very good at cleaning your teeth (like all of them), but i absolutely do not agree with the pricing structure of higher models.

I have used sonicare for years, this one like the others works really well, comes with case that you can charge through a usb cable, mine did not have the cable so I had to find one from my drawer of old phone charger cables (I think it’s a micro USB) it has a number of different settings for intensity and different cleaning modes.

Insgesamt ein schönes und wirksames Gerät, leider ist die Anschluss Stecker nicht für die üblichen Steck Dosen geeignet, also kann man nur über die Transport Dose mit dem usb Stecker aufladen. Somit hat man den Anschluss Stecker für nichts dabei.
