Broccoli and Cheese Risotto

by Lesley Waters

Go to:-  Main Cooking Video Page

Between the ages of one and three years it can be difficult to get kids to eat the right foods particularly as some toddlers can be fussy eaters.  Help is here with Celebrity Chef and mother Lesley Waters, along with SMA nutritionist Anne Sidnell who have designed 6 easy meals to satisfy your tot’s taste buds, and give them a good dose of the nutrients they need for healthy growth and development.

In the third webisode in the series, Lesley cooks up a delicious Broccoli and Cheese risotto with the minimum of fuss, using just one pot!

    Lesley's tip:

It’s vital to get vegetables into your toddler’s diet, and I found a great way to do this by adding broccoli into a cheesy risotto. Concealing the ‘good stuff’ in a tasty dinner is a great way of getting those nutrients in. Also, chicken is a great source of protein and toddlers like it because the flavour isn’t too strong
