Vegan Bean Burgers

Makes 4-6 Hot Vegetarian Vegan
Dairy Free Eggless Pulses Main Course
2 x 400g/14oz tins
of chickpeas, drained and mashed
1 Stick Celery,
1 Carrot, finely
Salt and Black
1 tbsp Vegetable
1. Place all the ingredients apart from the oil, in a large mixing bowl and
2. Using damp hands, divide the mixture into 4-6 and roll each portion into
balls. On a lightly floured board, flatten each ball into a burger.
3. Heat the oil in a large frying pan and fry the burgers over a medium-high
heat, turning once, until golden brown on both sides. Serve immediately.
