Makes approx 8    Hot  Vegetarian  Bread  Baked Fayre   Gluten Wheat Dairy Free  Accompaniment 




2 eggs

240ml/8fl.oz. Cold Water

1 level teasp GF Baking Powder

350g/12oz  GF  Flour Mix  No.1

An extra 50g/2oz  GF  Flour Mix  No.1  for rolling




1. Place the eggs, water and baking powder in a large mixing bowl and beat until frothy.


2. Add the flour and mix to form a dough.


3. Turn onto a floured surface and knead for a few minutes. Divide the mixture into 8 pieces and roll each portion thinly into an oval shape.  


4. Heat a heavy frying pan until hot then dry cook the pitas for 3-5 minutes, turning once. If you cover the pan during cooking, they will come out softer.


Can be reheated.
