Mixed White Fish
1/2 pts Fish Stock
Stocks of Celery, chopped
tin of Chopped Tomatoes
teasp dried Thyme
1. Skin and
bone the fish and cut into 2.5cm/1 inch pieces. Chop the bacon.
2. Heat the
oil in a pan and fry the bacon until crisp. Add the chopped onion and cook until soft and transparent.
3. Peel and
chop the potatoes and carrots and add to the pan together with the
rest of the
ingredients apart from the fish and bacon. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes.
4. Add the
fish pieces and bacon, cover and cook for a further 15 minutes. Serve hot in
