Hot Pork Soup Cambodia Asia Dairy free
4 tbsp Fish Sauce (approx)
6 tbsp Soy Sauce (approx)
Salt and Pepper
300g/11oz Sugar (approx)
4 Hard Boiled eggs, peeled
675g/1-1/2lb Lean Pork, cut into large cubes
225g/8oz Bamboo Shoots, thinly sliced
1. Place the
water, fish sauce, soy sauce, salt and pepper in a large saucepan and bring to
the boil, stirring.
2. Add the sugar
and mix well. Adjust the seasoning according to your taste, adding more fish
sauce or sugar.
3. Add the boiled
eggs, pork and bamboo shoots, mix well and bring to the boil. Reduce the heat,
partially cover and cook for 1-1/2 to 2 hours stirring from time to time.
served with rice.
