Cheese and Dandelion Salad Veg CD
4 Cold Vegetarian Vegetables
Herbs Salads Accompaniment Gluten Wheat Free
Fresh Young Dandelion Leaves
Red Onion, thinly sliced
Mature Cheddar Cheese, grated
and Black pepper
tbsp Olive Oil
tbsp Cider Vinegar
teasp Fresh Dill, chopped
Important - do not pick dandelion leaves from lawns or areas which have been
recently treated with weed killer or hormones. Wash the dandelion
greens carefully. Drain well and cut into pieces. Add the onions, tomatoes, and cheese. Toss to mix.
In a bowl, mix together the pepper, oil, vinegar, and dill.
To serve - pour the dressing over the salad and toss well. Serve immediately.
