Spicy Chicken Meatballs HT MC
Serves 4 Hot Poultry
Herbs Spices Vegetables Main Course Gluten Wheat Dairy
450g/1lb Minced (ground) Chicken
1 teasp Cornflour
1 small Onion, grated or very finely chopped
1 Garlic Clove, finely minced
3 tbsp freshly chopped Coriander
2 tbsp Sweet Chilli Sauce
1 tbsp Lemon Juice
1 teasp Ground Cumin
Oil for shallow frying
1. Place all of the ingredients apart from the oil in a large mixing bowl and
2. Using damp hands, form mixture into balls about the size of a large walnut,
making sure you compact the mixture tightly.
3. Heat the oil in a large frying pan until hot then add the meatballs, allowing
at least 12mm/˝-inch of space around each one, and fry for about 15 minutes,
turning from time to time, until well browned all over. You may have to do
this in batches or use two frying pans.
