A Weekday Menu Recipe

Pork with Peanut      HT  MC    20mins

Serves 4    Hot   Pork  Nuts  Fruit   Main Course  Dairy Gluten Wheat Free  Eggless


4 Lean Pork Leg steaks

8 tbsp Crunchy peanut Butter (check ingredients)

2 tbsp Clear Honey

2 tbsp Orange Juice




1. Preheat the grill to medium. In a bowl, mix together the peanut butter and honey then add the orange juice and mix until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.


2. Cut pork steaks in half lengthways. Thread each pork strip onto skewers lengthways. Dip into the peanut mixture and spoon over mixture to thoroughly coat.


3. Place the meat in a foil-lined grill-pan and cook for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally and re-coating with any remaining mixture. Serve hot.


Serving Suggestions :


Boiled Rice,  Green Salad,   Tomato and Parsley Salad
