tbsp Soy Sauce
teasp freshly grated Ginger
Small Onion, chopped
Garlic Cloves, crushed
teasp 5-Spice powder
tbsp Hoisin Sauce
oil for shallow frying
Preheat the oven to 180C, 350F, Gas Mark 4.
Place the remaining ingredients (apart from the oil for shallow frying) in a
mixing bowl and mix well. Use your hands to squish the mixture together.
Form the mixture into 30 balls.
Heat the oil in a large frying pan to very hot then brown the balls on all
sides. You may have to do this in batches. Drain on absorbent paper.
Transfer the browned balls to a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until
cooked through. Serve hot.
