Serves 4 Hot Offal Vegetables Spices Main
Course Dairy Free Eggless
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1 Green Capsicum (sweet pepper), deseeded and thinly sliced
1 Red Capsicum (sweet pepper), deseeded and thinly sliced
1 large Onion, sliced
2 Garlic Cloves, crushed
450g/1lb Chicken Livers, trimmed and chopped
1 teasp Lemon Juice
˝ teasp Ground Allspice
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
1. Heat the oil in a large frying pan until hot then add the green and red
peppers, onion, and garlic and sauté over a medium heat for about 5 minutes,
stirring from time to time until softened.
2. Add the liver to the pan, together with the lemon juice, allspice and soy
sauce and cook for 10 minutes stirring frequently. Serve immediately
