Mothers Day Special Strawberry Smoothie



If your mother doesn't like eating breakfast in bed, why not treat her to this wonderful smoothie instead. Serve it in a champagne flute to make it even more special on Mother's Day.


Serves 1


˝ Large Banana
5 Strawberries
120ml/4fl.oz. Vanilla Yoghurt

2-3 teasp Honey
2 large Ice Cubes, crushed

1 Whole strawberry to garnish


Cut the fruit into bite-sized pieces, place all of the ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.


Pour into a tall glass and garnish with a fanned strawberry.


General Notes:

  • This recipe take 30-60 seconds’ blending – starting on low and increasing to high.

  • If using frozen fruit omit the ice cubes. You can substitute plain ice cubes with the same quantity of frozen base liquid to give a fuller flavour

  • Where possible, chill the base liquid beforehand
