Serves 4-6 Hot Seafood Shellfish

1 Large Egg
2-3 tbsp Water
Prawns (shrimp), shelled
Spouts, broken up
Salt and Black
1. Preheat the
deep fat fryer to 190C/375F and pre-heat the oven to low. In a large mixing
bowl, beat the egg together with the water.
2. Add the flour a
tablespoon at a time and beat to form a thick paste, adding a little more flour
or water as necessary.
3. Add the
remaining ingredients, mix well and form into balls.
4. Deep fry in batches until golden brown on all sides. Drain on kitchen paper
and keep warm in the oven whilst you cook the remainder. Serve hot.
