Egyptian Spiced Prawns     HT MC Egyptian 20mins


Serves 4     Hot  Shellfish  Seafood  Spices  Herbs   Main Course   Gluten Wheat Dairy Free Eggless   Egypt North Africa Nth African


3 tbsp Olive Oil
2 Garlic Cloves, crushed
1 teasp Paprika
1 level teasp Ground Cumin
˝ teasp Ground Ginger
675g/1˝lb Large Shelled Raw Prawns (Shrimp)
2 tbsp Freshly chopped Coriander (cilantro)



1. Heat the oil in a large frying pan, add the garlic and sauté gently for 2-3 minutes, stirring from time to time.

2. Add the spices and stir to mix then add in the prawns, salt and chopped coriander and continue to stir-fry for 5 minutes or until the prawns turn pink.  Serve hot with rice and a fresh green salad.
