Chilli Prawn and Spinach Flan

100g/4 oz Cooked Peeled Prawns
150g/+5oz Cooked Spinach, chopped
1 Small Red Chilli, deseeded and very finely chopped
Preheat the oven to 190C, 375F, Gas mark 5. Line a 20cm/8 inch flan tin with the
pastry. Prick the base with a fork and line with
greaseproof paper, fill with baking beans and
bake for 15 minutes.
2. Remove the flan case from the oven and take out the beans and paper.
3. In a mixing bowl, beat together the egg and milk then stir in the prawns,
spinach and chilli and season with salt .
4. Pour the mixture into the flan case and bake for about 40 minutes, until set.
