Brandied Walnut Peaches    Veg  HT  DP  15mins


Serves 4     Hot   Dessert   Vegetarian  Fruit   Nuts Alcohol  Gluten Wheat  Dairy Free   Eggless



50g/2oz Walnuts, chopped
2 tbsp Honey
2 tbsp Apple Juice
2 tbsp Butter
2 Large Ripe Peaches, diced
2 tbsp Brandy
Dairy Free Vanilla Ice Cream to serve (optional)




1. Place the walnuts, honey, apple juice, butter and peaches in a saucepan and  heat gently, stirring constantly: DO NOT BOIL.


2. Remove from the heat and stir in the brandy.


3. To serve - spoon the warm topping over individual servings of ice cream. If using commercially manufactured ice cream, check the ingredients label.
