Food Week has been created to celebrate all things great about canned
food. Each day of Canned Food Week is designed to help plan
nutritionally balanced meals and show that using canned food is a
healthy, time-effective and cost-effective way to cook.

A note from the Editor
Despite this being a UK food celebration week, at the
time of posting this page (April 2013) as far as I am aware, the word
"canned" is not a popular term used in the UK, with most people,
supermarkets and grocers here still referring to these products as
"tinned" foods. I for one have always associated the word canned
with the USA.
