Pineapple Cornflake Flapjacks Veg
60ml/2fl.oz Golden Syrup
75g/3oz Brown Sugar
50g/2oz Desiccated Coconut
50g/2oz Rolled Oats
50g/2oz Pineapple, finely chopped
Preheat the oven to 180C, 350F, Gas Mark 4 and grease two shallow baking tins.
In a large saucepan, gently melt the butter, syrup and sugar.
Stir in the remaining ingredients. Mix well.
Transfer the mixture to the greased tins, pressing down well.
Bake for 10-15 minutes. Remove from the oven, cut into squares and leave to set
in the tins).
Carefully remove the pieces from the tin and leave to cool on a wire rack.
