Beef with Onions HT
Hot Beef Vegetables Herbs Spices Main Course
Onions, sliced into rings
1 tbsp Oil
1 tbsp Flour
fl.oz. Fresh Beef Stock
2 tbsp Red
Salt and Black
1. Slice the
meat across the grain and cut into 5cm/2inch strips.
2. Melt the
butter and oil in a frying pan, add the onions and cover, covered, over a gently heat until soft and transparent. Remove
from pan and reserve.
the heat then add the meat and brown on all sides. Add the reserved onion,
sprinkle with flour and cook, stirring, for 2-3 minutes.
4. Add the
stock, garlic, cumin, marjoram, wine vinegar, salt and pepper and mix
well. Cover and simmer for 1 hour. Serve hot.
