Cumin Burgers

Serves 4

400g/12oz Minced Beef
1 tbsp Ground Cumin
2 teasp Whole Cumin Seeds
75g/3oz Cooked Sweetcorn Kernels
Salt and Pepper


1. In a large bowl, mix together all the ingredients until well blended.

2. Using lightly floured hands divide the mixture into 4 and form each quarter into a ball. Turn each ball onto a floured surface and press down with the palm of your hand to form burgers.

3. Cook over hot coals for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.


Serving Suggestions


Serve on their own or in a bun with garnishes such as shredded lettuce, tomato slices, pickled gherkin slices, mustard, ketchup or mayonnaise.
