Spicy Chicken Burgers Recipe

Serves 4  (8 small burgers)

Ingredients
1 small Onion , finely chopped or grated
2 Garlic Cloves, crushed
450g/1lb Minced Chicken (raw)
2 tbsp Curry Paste (check ingredients)
1 tbsp Freshly chopped Mint
Salt and Black Pepper

A little Oil

Instructions

 

 

1. Place all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix until well blended, squidging the mixture together with your hands.


2. Shape the mixture into 8 small burgers, brush with a little oil then place oiled side down on the grill and cook over medium hot coals for 15-20 minutes, turning several times during cooking and basting with oil before each turn.

 

Serving Suggestions

 

Serve on their own or in a bun with garnishes such as shredded lettuce, tomato slices, pickled gherkin slices, mustard, ketchup or mayonnaise.

Substitute the mint with tarragon

Using a hamburger press as shown above, cuts down on the amount of time it takes to make each burger and ensures all your burgers are the same size and so cook at the same time
